Katie Hargrave / Liberty or Death: I Improve

An exploration of the history of the Gadsden Flag, this flag uses the image of the earthworm, questioning the threatening language of "don't tread on me," and instead imagining a positive alternative. A historic Gadsden Flag was fed to red wriggler earthworms, and the resulting compost was used to grow native plants.
